Wednesday, November 12th: Finish Philanthropy Presentations; Introduce "Role Cards" for Charles Dickens round table discussions (ATTENTION: Any research not finished in class Wednesday should be completed for homework)
Thursday, November 13th: Charles Dickens Round Table Discussions (NOTE: Students should come prepared with notes on the research conducted for their role. All students will be graded on their preparation for the discussion, as well as their active participation in the discussion.)
HOMEWORK: 3 Things I Learned About the Play
Friday, November 14th: Begin "A Christmas Carol", Stave 1; Students will be introduced to "A Christmas Carol" journal prompts to be completed throughout our reading of the novella. Students will be asked to choose NINE of the prompts to elaborate on, each of which will be graded as it is turned in.
HOMEWORK: Journal Entries 1 and 2 due by end of day Monday
